The coast from Gosfod to Port Macquarie is the envy of those living inland across the NW enduring the hottest run of temperatures ever experienced. Electricity use is at an all time high as residents do their best to keep properties and businesses cool. The 40 degree days will continue for another week and the cooler southerly winds keeping temperatures down across the Great Hunter and MNC will be replaced by the hot NW wind driving the mercury back into the 30s and 40s over the weekend.
