EAGLE WARRIORS WIN NINES THRILLER

The Jason Annear Shield is heading overseas for the first time….The Eagle Warriors downing the Newcastle All Blacks in the final seconds to secure the title.

Earlier in the day, the Fijian side had to overcome host club Berkeley Vale and did so in typically flamboyant style, with a 15 to eight win.

While in the Maree Kelly Memorial, the Panthers Women’s team were competitive against a star studded Cronulla line up…eventually going down 22-nil.

But the Sharks couldn’t replicate that performance in final; beaten by the Redfern All Blacks 22 to 18.
