Emergency services were on the scene of a two car crash on the Bruxner Highway at Alstonville this afternoon.
A white Subaru and a Holden hatchback were involved in the collision, at about 2.45, one kilometre east of the Kays lane turnoff.
About 20 metres of highway guard-rail was destroyed and both cars needed towing.
Thankfully no-one was seriously injured.
Police were on scene and are investigating the incident.
