A male driver and his female passenger are in custody tonight, following an alleged police pursuit on the Pacific Highway, just before 2 this afternoon.
Witnesses say police used road spikes to stop the vehicle, near Wooyung.
The vehicle then caught fire, closing northbound lanes of the Pacific Highway.
