A Mid North Coast concrete supplier has agreed to pay $72,000 to local Landcare groups, after an investigation by the EPA.
Hurd Haulage was found to have improperly disposed of concrete by-products at numerous sites, including its quarry in Cooperabung.
The company has also agreed to invest $50,000 in a new training module for its staff, to ensure similar incidents don’t happen again.
