DANCE-FLOOR ALTERCATION LEADS TO GLASSING ON THE GOLD COAST
Wounding charges have been laid on the Gold Coast following an altercation at a night club.
Shortly after 2:15am, police allege two men were inside a licensed venue on Albert Avenue in Broadbeach, when an altercation broke out after they bumped into each other on the dance floor.
During the altercation police further allege one man struck the other man in the face whilst holding a glass.
A 29-year-old Loganholme man received a large laceration to the left side of his face and was taken to hospital for treatment.
A 25-year-old from Coorparoo was charged with one count of wounding in a public place. He will appear in court in January.
