WEATHER: WEEKEND RAIN CLOSING IN

PHOTO: Eddy Groot captures spinifex against brilliant turquoise water.

Bright blue skies prevail across the region today after yesterdays front produced more rain across the region. We’ll see a couple of light patchy showers develop over NE NSW on Thursday and Friday but on Saturday another significant front will begin to move in across the Central Coast, Greater Hunter and NW. It will be a solid southerly change with a low forming but is set to move off shore quickly. Moderate falls are expected to be wide spread with storms possible and isolated heavy localised falls as the system contracts to NE NSW and SE QLD on Sunday.
