LAKE MACQUARIE POLICEMEN HAILED HEROS

Two Lake Macquarie policemen have been hailed heros, after coming to the aid of three young swimmers at Caves Beach last night.

Senior Constables Wade Fuller and Craig Hansen jumped on boogie boards to rescue the trio from a rip.

“They paddled out behind the break locating two 15 year old girls and a nine year old boy in distress and by all accounts they were on their last legs so we are quite certain without the actions of the police officers that those three children would have drowned”
