BREAK AND ENTERS TARGETED ON COAST

Police have made a breakthough on a number of break and enters on the Central Coast.

They attended a home in Yuruga Avenue San Remo earlier this week where they allegedly uncovered a large stash of stolen property.

A 27 year old man was charged with 24 offences in relation to the items.

“A large number of people will now be able to get their property back and we’ve been able to charge this person with those offences,” Tuggerah Lakes Police Tim Windmill said.

Police also say they found a large quantity of drugs and cash

In a separate bust, officers also arrested a 32-year old at The Entrance, where they allegedly located stolen property including a jet ski, arcade games, a boat and whipper snipper.

Both men have appeared before Wyong Court where they were refused bail.
