EAGLES SET TO HEAD TO SYDNEY FOR NPL GRAND FINAL

The National Premier Leagues grand final between Edgeworth and Sydney United has been set down for 2:30pm Sunday, in the state capital.
Having beaten the Victorian and W-A champions to reach the decider, the Eagles won’t be intimidated.
“Melbourne was our biggest game and as I said before we knocked them off so we can knock any team off, we probably will still be the underdogs because they’re Sydney but… I think we’ve got a good chance of winning it.”
Tamworth’s Keanu Moore moved to Newcastle to pursue a professional career.
Linking with the Eagles is definitely paying dividends.
“After the Melbourne game I had a few scouts come up to me, been in touch with them but I’m concentrating on Edgeworth until we get the job done.”
