RESERVOIR REFURBISHMENT TO BENEFIT MORE THAN 1600 HOUSES AND BUSINESSES
Residents will have access to a high-quality of drinking water for another 30 years, following Tamworth Regional Council’s refurbishment announcement.
Two reservoirs within the Tamworth Region, including a site at Nemingha and Calala, will undergo major work next week.
Council will spend $930,000 to refurbish each reservoir – which will go towards cleaning, sandblasting, repairing and painting the facilities.
The first major work, undertaken since they were built in the 1980s, will benefit more than 1600 homes and business.
