A man has been taken to hospital in a critical condition after the vehicle he was travelling in crashed into a power pole on the Gold Coast overnight.
Police investigations indicate at about 11pm, a car was travelling along Harry Mills Drive in Worongary when it left the road and hit a power pole.
The 56-year-old driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital in a critical condition.
Investigations continue.
