A 22-year-old man will face court today, after he allegedly assaulted a baby on a Central Coast train.
Police were alerted at Woy Woy train station at around 8:30 last night, after a person expressed concerns for the welfare of a 10-month-old boy.
It’s alleged he was assaulted several times during the trip from Sydney.
A 22-year-old man was arrested and later charged with assault.
The little boy was taken to Gosford Hospital with head injuries and is now in a stable condition.
