Police believe a male suspect may be involved in a rash of mountain bike thefts on the Gold Coast.
In the past few months, high quality mountain bikes have been stolen from a local high school in the Palm Beach area.
Bikes have also been targeted in other public areas and underground car parks.
One that has been stolen was a rare imported mountain bike, described as a TITUS switch-blade (pictured).
Police are reminding riders to secure their bikes with sturdy locks.
