Festivities continued in Spinks Park today, where Lismore’s Italian community celebrated the town’s sister city relationship, with Italian town Conegliano.
“This year we are celebrating the 25th anniversary of that relationship and so, what we’re interested in doing is extending our relationship.”
Throughout the day, ‘Piazza in the Park’ attendees were treated to authentic Italian music, dancing, sport, food and wine.
Organisers hope the friendship festival will become an annual event.
