WOOPI SURF LIFE SAVING FUTURE SECURE

One million dollars will be spent upgrading South Grafton’s Rushforth Park, if Labor is elected on July 2.

Deputy Opposition Leader Tanya Plibersek also announced funding for Woolgoolga Surf Life Saving Club, to move its operations down to the Marine Rescue site.

“We are delighted to be able to announce that if Labor is elected on the second of July, we’ll contribute one point two million dollars, to this much needed upgrade of the surf life saving club premises.”

Labor candidate for Page, Janelle Saffin says its an issue she has been looking to address for some time.

“I’ve been lobbied by nearly everyone in Woolgoolga and the Northern Beaches about the surf life saving club. Everybody agreed it was a key priority project.”

The club says it’s glad both major parties have its future at heart.
