An horrific crash has claimed two lives near Uralla, in the state’s north west.
Just before 2pm, emergency services were called to the Thunderbolts Way at Rocky River, amid reports two trucks had collided head-on.
Following the impact, both rigs caught alight – two people, believed to be the drivers, were found dead at the scene.
The road is expected to remain closed for some time.
