TENSION STILL HIGH AT SECOND MIDCOAST MEETING

Anger has erupted this afternoon, at the second MidCoast Council meeting.

Community members and protesters packed the Taree Council chambers, vocally opposing the administration and dismissal of representatives, including Taree GM Ron Posselt.

“You know nothing about this region! Ron has a wealth of information! He could have been a valued member of an executive as part of MidCoast Council!”

Interim General Manager Glenn Handford allowed community members five minutes each to express their concerns.
