EPA SCRUTINISED FOR MANAGEMENT OF PFOS AND PFOA
The EPA is under more scrutiny tonight over its response to the Williamtown RAAF Base chemical spill, with an independent report finding more could have been done.
The interim study, by Professor Mark Taylor, found the watchdog’s management of chemicals PFOS and PFOA could have been improved.
The EPA’s own initial report also found its response was inadequate.
Professor Taylor’s independent review is expected to be handed down by the end of the year.
