A man has been charged with a number of drug and firearm related offences after being arrested on the mid north coast.
Just before 11am today, police identified a 25-year-old male who had evaded them in a pursuit on the Central Coast earlier this month.
Police had subsequently searched the man’s property and allegedly located a quantity of drugs, a sawn-off shotgun, replica pistol and a suspected stolen motorcycle. The motorcycle had a hidden cavity containing an amount of cash and drugs.
The man was arrested today while travelling as a passenger in a vehicle on the Pacific Highway at Kew.
He was charged with a range of offences, and refused bail to appear at Port Macquarie Local Court tomorrow.
