UNION MEMBERS MARCH IN MAYDAY PARADE

In Newcastle, Hamilton’s Beaumont Street came to a standstill today for the Mayday Parade.

Formally known as the Trades Hall Council, Hunter Workers organised the march – with transport privatisation, and contamination concerns, high on the agenda.

  1. Do typos ever get corrected in old news items? I’m a little shocked that even after two days nobody has bothered to correct the two glaring errors: the distress signal “Mayday” instead of “May Day”, and “formally” instead of “formerly”.
