It’s been another very dry, warm month for most of the region. Only northern NSW and southeast QLD has been receiving consistent showers.
Finally some inland rain is on the way in May. A moisture-laden system is going to move in across southern NSW right at the end of the month. It will spread across the North West to make for a wet start to the month – decent rain hasn’t fallen here since January.
It’s been very warm, with consistent above average temperatures for the Hunter as well this month, so rain is also now needed there too.
