My team may have one, when there are score blow outs is that really competitive rugby. I blame the ARU money from suburban clubs flows up unlike AFL where it flows down to increase and nurture grass roots rugby. We may be a a majority league district, but really why cant we have a tight comp ….. at the end of the season its going to be Wanderers, Hamilton, Merewether and Waratah (who don’t have any juniors which is a disgrace).
Wake up ARU grassroots rugby is where its at not paying Folau hundreds of thousands of dollars. Why did my junior club pay over 5K for a participation fee,,,,,,its a tax on clubs to fund the top end. We get nothing back, So I say revolt and don’t pay participation fees. What can they do……ban you from what? Each region runs its own competition and pays its own insurance so why are we paying the ARU for no return. Rant over.
