COFFS UNITED CLAIMS VICTORY OVER THE TIGERS
Coffs United has claimed the three points in yesterday’s North Coast Football derby against the Coffs Coast Tigers.
The Lions led 2-1 at the break before captain Scott Goddard doubled the lead early in the second half.
The referee was forced to brandish a flurry of yellow cards, as the game threatened to boil over.
But striker Caleb Lokpo sealed the win for United, with the Tigers only managing a late consolation goal to end the game 4-2.
The Tigers will now travel to play Urunga in the FFA cup knock-out mid week.
