New South Wales has retained the Finlay Cooper Cup in Seniors Cricket by the narrowest of margins.
The Blues defeating Queensland 8 games to 6 over the two day carnival, held in Coffs Harbour for the first time.
The Maroons still lead the interstate series 5 tournaments to 4.
The two states each fielded seven teams.
Next year the carnival returns to Brisbane but Coffs Harbour is expected to host again in 20-18.
