5 INJURED IN TWO HEAD-ON CRASHES ON PACIFIC HIGHWAY
An elderly man was seriously hurt when his car smashed head-on into a campervan on the Pacific Highway at Clybucca early this morning.
The 74 year-old was transported to Port Macquarie Hospital, while two young men in the van were taken to Coffs Harbour Health Campus with serious injuries.
Meanwhile there were also headaches for drivers south of Grafton,
following a head-on crash between a b-double and a van at about 1am.
The 27-year-old male driver of the van was rushed to Coffs Harbour Hospital in a serious condition, while the truck driver escaped with minor injuries.
The road was closed for around eight hours, as crews cleared the wreckage.
