The father of a Murwillumbah girl killed in a light aircraft crash, has taken the stand on the opening day of the pilot’s trial.
53 year old John Patrick Crumpton was allegedly at the controls when the plane crashed into the Clarence River near Ewingar in 2014.
He faces several charges over the incident, including manslaughter over the death of the 11-year-old.
The trial continues in Lismore tomorrow.
