CUDGEN PREVAIL IN LJ HOOKER LEAGUE ROUND 5

Reigning premiers Cudgen have defeated the Lennox Head pirates in round five of the LJ Hooker League cricket competition at Kingscliff.

The outclassed pirates ran out time, falling 30 runs short of the total posted by Cudgen (190) at the end of their innings.

Elsewhere, the Casino Cavaliers were defeated by Pottsville while the Ballina Bears fell to the Marist Brothers Lismore side.
