POLICE RELEASE IMAGE OF MAN OF INTEREST IN ROBBERY ON NORTHERN RIVERS

Police have released an image of a man who may be able to assist with information, after a woman was robbed on the Northern Rivers last month.

The 76-year-old woman was walking to her vehicle at Banora Point on June 22, when a man allegedly grabbed her handbag and fled the scene with another male.

The pair ran towards Banora Point shopping centre, before jumping a wooden fence near Darlington Drive..

He has been described as a thin build, about 170cm tall, aged 17-18 years old, with brown fuzzy hair and a moustache.
