While most acts went according to plan, a small mechanical failure left a plane partially flipped on the runway.
We would just like to congratulate everyone involved in bringing about the Hunter Valley Air Show, we travelled from Griffith (some 7-8 hrs) to attend the Air Show to watch our son Joel Brown jump over Paul Bennetts stunt plane. The whole weekend was an absolute tribute to the hours and hard work by Paul Bennett Air shows and everyone involved, we really enjoyed watching the planes and it was wonderful to finally watch our Son Joel Brown jump over the plane, a very heart stopping but invigorating stunt.

It was nice to see NBN cover the show and the stunt Paul and Joel did. Its a shame our local news teams don’t show anything Joel does.
