YOUNG NEWCASTLE BOY RAISES ALBINISM AWARENESS

A young Newcastle boy has embarked on a personal mission to raise awareness of a rare, and often misunderstood, genetic condition.

11-year-old Xander Russell has albinism and has marked the first-ever World Albinism Awareness Day, by sharing his story – educating his schoolmates and now, the wider community.
