HUNTER HURRICANES OUTCLASSED BY VICTORIAN SEALS

It’s been a tough afternoon for the Hunter Hurricanes in the National Water Polo League, with both the men’s and women’s sides losing their final home game of the season to the Seals.
The Victorian girls were always in control.
By the end of the third quarter, the visitors were way out in front, 14-6.
The Hurricanes had plenty of chances, but the game wasn’t going according to plan.
The men’s match was a much closer affair.
Playing his 300th game in the national league, Phil Reid got the Hunter off to a great start with two goals in the opening quarter.
Steve Cody chipped in with a goal from an impossible angle.
But the second placed Seals would prove too strong, winning by two.
