THUNDERBOLTS SNEAK INTO FINALS

The Tamworth Thunderbolts have scraped into the finals of State League Basketball, following a 29 point thrashing of the Lismore Storm.

The Thunderbolts had opened up an 11 point lead at half time.

Before taking further control of the game, posting a 98 points to 69 win.

Marshawn Hampton played a dominant role for the home side, dropping 26 points.

He was well supported by Roman Jurd, who added 18.

The result means they finished second in pool A, and will meet the Hawkesbury Jets in a knockout match on Saturday night.
