A man in his thirties has drowned in the surf at Lighthouse Beach at Port Macquarie on the New South Wales Mid North Coast.
Police say the man went missing about 8.30 on Friday morning and his body was found washed up a short time later.
It’s thought he may have been struck in the head by his surfboard.
Police are yet to release the victim’s name.
