WERRIS CREEK PRIMARY CLOSES DOORS

Werris Creek’s St Joseph’s Primary School will close its doors due to falling enrolments.

The Catholic Schools office will shut down the school on the 9th of April.

Just eight students are enrolled this year.

For the past two years, the school has failed to attract any kindergarten students from the district.

The nearest Catholic primary school is St Joseph’s in Quirindi, 19 kilometres away.
